Dan Swift is President, CEO and Chairman of the Board of BSB Design, a nationally recognized planning and design firm founded in 1966 to focus on the residential development industry. The firm currently has 12 offices nationwide, with over 250 staff, and has 17 of the top 20 builders on the 2019 Professional Builder Housing Giants list as active clients. While Dan oversees the firm’s design and business development efforts in multiple markets nationwide, his deepest area of involvement is setting design direction and innovation implementation with the leaders of the top 10 publicly traded builders in the US. Dan’s passion for innovation as both a student and as an agent for change has driven him to expand the vision for architecture and the built environment.

Outside groups like Abundance 360 have helped him hone his message – the places in which we live and work should improve peak human performance, and breakthrough innovation thinking is the only way to get us there. Currently Dan is helping builder clients leverage the design process to maximize consumer appeal, improve sales velocity and create higher margins through speed, focus, creativity and collaboration.

Dan is a national thought leader and speaker on Housing and Architecture, as well as the author and creator of “The Thoughtful Home and the Architecture of Human Peak Performance” that was created in 2008-2009.
